Payroll Manager
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team on a contract basis for a 2-3 month engagement. This position is based in Lakewood, Colorado, and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to payroll operations for a large organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in payroll management, including multi-state and high-volume payroll processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee and manage full-cycle payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.<br>• Administer multi-state payroll for over 500 employees, addressing unique state-specific requirements.<br>• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to process payroll efficiently and resolve any system-related issues.<br>• Ensure compliance with payroll-related tax laws, labor regulations, and reporting requirements.<br>• Prepare and review payroll reports, identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to address payroll inquiries and provide timely solutions.<br>• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation, adhering to confidentiality standards.<br>• Lead payroll audits and ensure all procedures align with industry best practices.<br>• Monitor and implement changes in payroll regulations to maintain compliance.<br>• Train and support payroll staff to enhance operational efficiency.
• Proven experience in managing full-cycle payroll operations, including multi-state payroll.<br>• Expertise in handling payroll for large organizations with over 500 employees.<br>• Strong proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and other payroll systems.<br>• CPP (Certified Payroll detail oriented) designation preferred.<br>• Deep knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting standards.<br>• Ability to manage sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality.<br>• Excellent organizational and analytical skills to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.<br>• Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and address employee concerns.
