<p>Robert Half is currently recruiting for a skilled Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Knoxville, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently while supporting the overall financial operations of the organization.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment and collection.</p><p>• Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies.</p><p>• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure transactions are recorded correctly and balances align.</p><p>• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month-end closing activities.</p><p>• Utilize QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online to maintain and update financial records.</p><p>• Process daily bank deposits and ensure proper documentation and posting of payments.</p><p>• Handle billing tasks, including generating invoices and tracking payments.</p><p>• Research and resolve any financial discrepancies or errors in a timely manner.</p><p>• Assist with check runs and other payment-related tasks.</p><p>• Support the preparation of financial data for audits or reviews as needed.</p><p><br></p><p>The position is 100% onsite.  For immediate consideration please contact Lisa Coker at 865-370-2084 to set up an interview</p>
• Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, demonstrating expertise in managing financial records.<br>• Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online for handling accounting tasks.<br>• Strong skills in account reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and managing AP/AR processes.<br>• Familiarity with month-end closing procedures and preparing financial reports.<br>• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for creating and analyzing financial data.<br>• Ability to process payments, check runs, and daily bank deposits accurately.<br>• Excellent problem-solving skills to research and resolve financial discrepancies.<br>• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
