We are looking for an experienced Technical Accounting Manager to join our team in Irvine, California. In this long-term contract position, you will take on a leadership role in managing complex accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and driving process improvements. Responsibilities:• Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.• Manage general ledger activities, including reconciliations and adjustments, to maintain accuracy and compliance.• Lead financial statement audits by preparing documentation and coordinating with external auditors.• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.• Prepare and review journal entries to support various accounting activities.• Assist in lease accounting, including setting up entities and recording assets by cost center.• Contribute to special projects within specific divisions to improve financial processes.• Automate expense report reimbursement workflows to enhance efficiency.• Oversee fee collection processes, including unused commitments, ensuring proper accounting.• Support updates to internal systems and processes to comply with organizational standards.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical accounting or a related field.• Proficiency in managing month-end close and general ledger processes.• Strong understanding of financial statement audits and account reconciliation.• Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries with attention to detail.• Familiarity with lease accounting or similar specialized accounting tasks.• Proven ability to lead special projects and implement process improvements.• Advanced knowledge of accounting systems and tools.• Excellent organizational and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
