Desktop Support Technician
<p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p> We are seeking a <strong>Desktop Support Technician</strong> with 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience to join our team on a contract basis. This role is fully onsite in Houston and requires a strong background in supporting Microsoft 365, Intune, and end-user hardware and peripherals.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 applications and services (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).</li><li>Support and manage endpoints through Intune, including device enrollment, configuration, and compliance policies.</li><li>Maintain and upgrade end-user hardware, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.</li><li>Document issues, solutions, and user support requests in ticketing systems.</li><li>Collaborate with IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.</li></ul>
<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>3+ years of experience in desktop/end-user support roles.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite.</li><li>Experience with Intune for device management.</li><li>Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and peripheral issues.</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Have:</strong></p><ul><li>CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or other relevant IT certifications.</li><li>Prior experience supporting mid-to-large scale environments.</li></ul><p><br></p>
