We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Accountant to join our team for a long-term engagement. This position plays a critical role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy of accounting processes. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to system implementation efforts and collaborate on key financial projects. This role is fully remote and will report directly to the CFO. The day-to-day responsibilities include: • Manage month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.• Oversee general ledger activities and maintain comprehensive records.• Prepare and post journal entries to reflect accurate financial data.• Conduct account reconciliations to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper documentation.• Lead efforts in implementing financial systems, including NetSuite.• Collaborate with teams to support the transition from QuickBooks to NetSuite.• Provide critical input during system go-live and related activities.• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.• Assist in developing and maintaining efficient accounting workflows.

The ideal candidate will have the following skill set: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related financial roles.• Proficiency in month-end close procedures and general ledger management.• Strong knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliation processes.• Experience with bank reconciliations and financial documentation.• Expertise in NetSuite and QuickBooks, including system implementation.• Familiarity with managing large-scale financial system transitions.• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a contract role.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
