<p>Growing company is seeking a staff accountant. The staff accountant will be a backup for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The staff accountant will assist with the month-end close. A plus would be a knowledge of the general ledger and journal entries. The staff accountant will also help with reconciliation of cash and balance sheet accounts.The bank account has a couple hundred rows and can be done with filtering. The balance sheet accounts have thousands of items that have to be done with vlookups and pivot tables. Multi-State Sales and Use Tax experience. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in managing corporate tax returns and multi-state sales and use tax.<br>• Strong skills in general ledger management and journal entry preparation.<br>• Experience with bank account reconciliation, including handling large data sets using advanced spreadsheet tools.<br>• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.<br>• Ability to efficiently manage and analyze high-volume financial data.<br>• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work within a team environment.
