<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive <strong>Staff Accountant</strong> to join our finance team on a hybrid contract basis. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to contribute to accounting operations.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Apply accounting principles to analyze financial information, prepare, and post journal entries.</li><li>Maintain and oversee accounts and records, including disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income; perform account reconciliations, research, and record corrections.</li><li>Compile and analyze financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and ensure accuracy; identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.</li><li>Prepare intercompany billing statements and address questions from staff.</li><li>Document accounting policies and procedures used by accounting staff for reference.</li><li>Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline accounting workflows.</li><li>Independently lead ad hoc special projects assigned by accounting management.</li></ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.</li><li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.</li><li>Experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.</li></ul><p><br></p>
