We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Egg Harbor Twp, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position that requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in processing invoices and managing payment workflows. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent organizational skills, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process and verify invoices accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies.<br>• Assign appropriate account codes to transactions for proper financial tracking.<br>• Manage payment processes, including ACH transactions and check runs, to maintain timely vendor payments.<br>• Reconcile discrepancies in invoices and resolve any issues with vendors or other stakeholders.<br>• Maintain organized records of accounts payable activities for audit and reporting purposes.<br>• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.<br>• Assist in improving accounts payable procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.<br>• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to accounts payable.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.<br>• Proficiency in coding invoices and account classification.<br>• Familiarity with ACH payment processes and check runs.<br>• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.<br>• Ability to resolve invoice discrepancies and communicate effectively with vendors.<br>• Knowledge of accounts payable systems and workflows.<br>• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
