We are looking for a detail-driven and motivated Audit Staff to join our growing team in Eden, North Carolina. If you are passionate about advancing your career in public accounting and auditing, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Perform audits, reviews, and compilations of financial statements for clients across various industries, with a focus on public sector and non-profit organizations.<br>• Assist clients with engagements involving governmental, non-profit, Yellow Book, and federal or state single audits.<br>• Conduct comprehensive testing, including substantive procedures and walkthroughs of internal controls.<br>• Prepare accurate working papers, draft financial statements, and organize supporting documentation.<br>• Manage tasks independently while ensuring deadlines are met with precision.<br>• Utilize advanced Excel skills to handle data analysis, create schedules, and perform reconciliations.<br>• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality audit services and provide valuable insights.<br>• Maintain strong attention to detail and uphold high standards in all audit-related tasks.

<p>• Minimum of 1 year of experience in public auditing preferred.</p><p>• Familiarity with governmental, non-profit, Yellow Book, and single audits is advantageous.</p><p>• Proven ability to succeed in a small, collaborative office setting.</p><p>• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.</p><p>• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functionalities.</p><p>• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.</p>
