Responsibilities:• Prepare and review corporate tax returns to ensure compliance with regulations.• Manage sales tax filings and reporting for accurate and timely submissions.• Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger to support accurate financial reporting.• Assist with automating accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.• Provide consulting expertise on financial strategies and business process improvements.• Oversee accounting functions for construction projects, including expense tracking and projections.• Develop detailed project plans for departmental accounting initiatives.• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and principles, such as GAAP and IFRS.• Participate in the accounting close process to deliver timely and accurate financial statements.• Perform analysis and reconciliation of accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proven experience in corporate tax, sales tax, and general ledger management. • Proficiency in accounting software systems and tools. • Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting standards. • Ability to develop and implement detailed project plans and financial strategies. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience in automating accounting processes and using technology to enhance operations. • Effective communication and collaboration skills for consulting and team environments.
