Assistant Project Manager
<p>We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Denver, Colorado. This role involves supporting the successful execution of construction projects, ranging from $2M to $5M, from preconstruction to closeout. As part of the Contracting Division, you will collaborate with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>· Gain a clear understanding of the project and how it will be executed. </p><p>· Actively participates with the team during the preconstruction phase of the project to ensure all Pre-Construction tasks are completed. </p><p>· Verify Daily Production Reports (DPR’s) are created and received daily.</p><p>· Partner with Project Managers to ensure the customers’ project schedules are documented in CB’s project management system.</p><p>· Ensures that permits are obtained to facilitate the project schedule.</p><p><br></p><p>· Ensure material submittals and supporting documents are delivered to contractors by deadlines.</p><p>· Assist PM’s in ensuring all materials are available at the time he project begins. </p><p>· Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly Revenue, Cost, and margin analysis.</p><p>· Partner with Project Managers to keep project moving toward successful completion in face of aggressive schedules and discouraging developments.</p><p>· Ability to provide information regarding tasks, plans, schedule, strategies, and org structure to stakeholders.</p><p>· Partner with Accounts Receivable to ensure projects are paid in a timely manner.</p><p>· Partner with Project Managers and Operations Manager in managing projects, from beginning to end. </p><p>· Partner with Project Managers with creating, updating, adjusting DPR’s/TCR tickets and reviewing for accuracy for materials, equipment, and Labor. </p><p>· Track Actual quantities vs. Contract quantities. </p><p>· Prepare Weekly project reports for weekly meetings.</p><p>· Work with PM’s in reviewing plans in order to effectively order materials for the jobs.</p><p>· All other duties as assigned.</p>
• Proven experience in managing construction projects with budgets ranging from $2M to $5M.<br>• Familiarity with preconstruction, procurement, scheduling, and contract administration processes.<br>• Strong financial acumen with the ability to prepare and analyze project budgets and reports.<br>• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.<br>• Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain focus under tight deadlines.<br>• Proficiency in project management software and tools.<br>• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.<br>• Knowledge of permitting requirements and processes for construction projects.
