The ideal candidate will play a vital role in overseeing financial operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities:• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts.• Oversee general ledger activities and ensure proper documentation and compliance.• Conduct financial statement audits to maintain transparency and accuracy in reporting.• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making processes.• Handle accounting operations related to construction projects, including cost tracking and revenue recognition.• Utilize Viewpoint Vista software to manage accounting functions effectively.• Monitor fixed asset ledger and ensure proper tracking and reporting of fixed assets.• Collaborate with teams to address certified payroll requirements and ensure compliance.• Apply advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, to improve reporting and analysis.• Maintain adherence to industry standards and practices within the construction sector.

• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry. • Proficiency in month-end close processes and general ledger management. • Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and reporting practices. • Experience with construction accounting, including project-specific financial tracking. • Familiarity with Viewpoint Vista software is required. • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex formulas. • Ability to manage fixed assets and maintain accurate records. • Understanding of certified payroll processes and compliance requirements.
