We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead financial operations and accounting practices across multiple divisions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in construction, franchising, and multi-entity financial management.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Direct and oversee accounting operations for both construction and franchising divisions.<br>• Supervise job costing, subcontractor payments, draw schedules, and financial reporting.<br>• Manage franchise accounting processes, including royalties, fees, and audit-ready financials.<br>• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing accounting team.<br>• Collaborate with leadership on capital planning, budgeting, lending strategies, and financial decision-making.<br>• Implement advanced systems like NetSuite or Sage, alongside AP automation and financial controls.<br>• Ensure timely and accurate monthly closings, cash flow forecasts, dashboards, and reports for the board.

• Possess 7+ years of experience in accounting or controlling within construction, real estate, franchising, or multi-unit operations.<br>• Demonstrate expertise in cost accounting, multi-entity operations, and financial reporting.<br>• Proven ability to support high-growth organizations scaling from $10M to $100M+.<br>• Hold a CPA certification; additional certifications are strongly preferred.<br>• Exhibit strong leadership, communication skills, and a results-driven mindset.<br>• Maintain a high degree of integrity, accuracy under pressure, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
