We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Delray Beach, Florida. This is a contract position within the real estate development industry, offering an opportunity to work on diverse financial tasks supporting large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will contribute to the financial success of our organization by ensuring accurate reporting and compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: • Manage month-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts. • Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards. • Perform account and bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy. • Analyze budgets and track expenses to support project financial goals. • Prepare detailed financial reports and provide insights to project managers. • Process invoices and monitor expense accounts for compliance and accuracy. • Collaborate with project teams to review financial performance and address discrepancies. • Contribute to financial planning and forecasting processes for development projects. • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies. • Support audits and provide documentation as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably within real estate or project accounting. • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel. • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget management. • Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication and collaboration abilities. • Certification or progress toward certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
