We are looking for an experienced Interim Senior Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas, on a long-term contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with a keen attention to detail and expertise in accounting operations, financial reconciliations, and month-end close processes. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment while leveraging advanced systems and tools to ensure accuracy and compliance.This is a 5+ month contract position, offering a hybrid work schedule (4 days a week in the office in downtown Dallas; remote on Fridays). Interim Senior Accountant (contract position):Responsibilities:• Manage daily accounting operations, ensuring all transactions are accurate, timely, and aligned with compliance standards.• Oversee the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries for accruals, prepaids, and depreciation.• Lead the accounting and reconciliation of fixed assets and depreciation schedules.• Review prepaid accounts to ensure proper amortization and maintain thorough documentation.• Collaborate with external auditors by providing schedules and supporting materials during audit processes.• Assist in financial reporting for acquisitions and integrations, ensuring accurate and detailed analysis.• Mentor and guide Accounts Payable and Staff Accountant team members to foster growth and efficiency.• Analyze trial balances and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.• Utilize platforms such as Sage Intacct, Excel, and Paycom for efficient data management and reporting.• Support invoice and expense processing, with Concur experience as a valuable asset.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance• Extensive experience managing month-end close processes, account reconciliations, and compliance with US GAAP.• Proficiency in Sage Intacct is strongly preferred, along with advanced Excel skills.• Demonstrated expertise in audit support, acquisition accounting, and fixed asset management.• Familiarity with Paycom and Concur systems is advantageous.• Strong analytical and organizational skills, coupled with excellent communication abilities.• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.• Proven track record of identifying and resolving trial balance discrepancies effectively.
