Paralegal
We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Chicago, Illinois. This role requires a strong background in civil litigation and offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing legal documentation and trial preparation.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Organize and prepare legal case files to ensure all necessary documentation is readily available.<br>• Assist the litigation team with trial preparation and case management tasks.<br>• Utilize SharePoint to manage filing systems and ensure efficient document organization.<br>• Support the team in e-filing processes and maintaining compliance with legal standards.<br>• Conduct discovery processes and manage case-related information.<br>• Provide assistance with civil litigation tasks, including drafting and reviewing legal documents.<br>• Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for court appearances and hearings.<br>• Utilize case management software such as Clio to track case progress and deadlines.<br>• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all legal filings and documentation.<br>• Maintain effective communication with team members to ensure smooth case handling.
• Proven experience in civil litigation with a strong understanding of legal processes.<br>• Proficiency in utilizing SharePoint for document management.<br>• Familiarity with e-filing systems and procedures.<br>• Experience with case management software, such as Clio, is preferred.<br>• Solid knowledge of discovery processes and trial preparation.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced legal environment.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
