Legal Assistant
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting legal operations, ensuring seamless case management, and maintaining effective communication with clients and courts. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional results.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and file court cases with accuracy and efficiency to meet deadlines.<br>• Maintain consistent communication with clients and court representatives to provide updates and address inquiries.<br>• Utilize templates for legal documentation and correspondence to streamline processes.<br>• Assist with tax appeals, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.<br>• Manage a high volume of legal work while maintaining quality and attention to detail.<br>• Leverage Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word, for document preparation and data management.<br>• Navigate Odyssey and SharePoint systems to handle court-related tasks and case information.<br>• Collaborate with legal teams to ensure timely and organized case handling.<br>• Review and analyze legal documents to identify key information and action items.
• Proven experience in a legal assistant or similar role.<br>• Strong knowledge of tax law and familiarity with legal procedures.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.<br>• Experience with Odyssey and SharePoint systems for legal case management.<br>• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle high-volume workloads.<br>• Strong written and verbal communication abilities for client and court interactions.<br>• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance.<br>• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
