We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Chesterfield, Missouri. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your accounting expertise in a dynamic and detail-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will excel in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of corporate tax filings. Responsibilities: • Prepare and review corporate tax returns to ensure compliance with regulations. • Manage sales tax filings and resolve any discrepancies. • Create and post accurate journal entries to maintain financial records. • Oversee the general ledger, ensuring all accounts are balanced and reconciled. • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including payment tracking and invoice management. • Collaborate on collections activities to recover outstanding balances. • Conduct month-end closings and generate accurate financial reports. • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and support. • Work closely with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

• Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and filing. • Strong knowledge of sales tax regulations and procedures. • Proficiency in managing journal entries and general ledger accounts. • Hands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. • Familiarity with month-end close processes and financial reporting. • Ability to handle collections and recover overdue payments. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
