Payroll Administrator
We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Chesapeake, Virginia. This Contract-to-long-term position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment, managing payroll processes for a large workforce. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in handling complex payroll tasks, including garnishments, and a strong command of multi-state payroll systems.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process and manage garnishments for a large number of employees with accuracy and timeliness.<br>• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.<br>• Administer full-cycle payroll processing, including data entry, validation, and reconciliation.<br>• Manage payroll for multi-state employees, ensuring adherence to varying state-specific guidelines.<br>• Utilize ADP Workforce Now to maintain employee payroll records and process payments.<br>• Handle payroll for employee groups ranging from 101 to 500 individuals.<br>• Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.<br>• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.<br>• Generate and review payroll reports to verify data integrity and compliance.
• At least 2 years of experience in payroll administration, including garnishment processing.<br>• Proficiency in full-cycle payroll operations, including data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.<br>• Experience managing payroll for multi-state employees.<br>• Familiarity with payroll systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now.<br>• Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance standards across federal and state levels.<br>• Ability to handle payroll for groups ranging from 101 to 500 employees.<br>• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.<br>• Effective communication skills to address employee payroll concerns and collaborate with internal teams.
