We are looking for an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to oversee distribution center in Charlotte, North Carolina. This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team and optimize processes for inventory accuracy, on-time fulfillment, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in distributive environments, particularly in tools, hardware, or automotive aftermarket parts. Responsibilities:• Direct daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order picking, packing, shipping, and returns.• Supervise and develop a team of warehouse supervisors, leads, and associates through staffing, scheduling, performance evaluations, and coaching.• Manage transportation and carrier partnerships by negotiating rates and monitoring delivery performance.• Implement and oversee Warehouse Management System processes, ensuring seamless integration with organizational systems.• Lead continuous improvement efforts, such as Lean, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives, to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.• Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts, discrepancy analysis, and corrective measures.• Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and hazardous materials handling protocols.• Plan and optimize warehouse space utilization, slotting strategies, and equipment needs to meet seasonal and product-specific demands.• Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and customer service teams to prioritize orders, address backorders, and manage special shipments.• Prepare operational reports and key performance indicators for senior management, while developing budgets and controlling expenses.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably in tools, hardware, or automotive parts distribution. • At least 3 years of leadership experience managing frontline supervisors and teams in a high-volume distribution setting. • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems and familiarity with AS400 or similar platforms. • Demonstrated expertise in carrier management, freight optimization, and distribution network operations. • Strong understanding of inventory control practices, including cycle counting and reconciliation. • Advanced analytical skills with experience in Excel and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau. • Certifications in Lean/Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement methodologies are preferred. • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
