We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented File Clerk to assist with document scanning and organization in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a Contract position ideal for someone adept at handling physical files and ensuring digital records are accurately maintained. The role involves working with a variety of financial and HR documents, requiring precision and efficiency.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Organize and prepare physical documents for scanning, ensuring all staples and paperclips are removed.<br>• Operate a high-capacity scanner to digitize financial and HR records.<br>• Manage and safely handle boxes of documents weighing up to 30 pounds.<br>• Set up and maintain computer systems and scanners for efficient workflow.<br>• Verify the quality and accuracy of scanned files, ensuring they are correctly stored in electronic filing systems.<br>• Shred physical documents after scanning, adhering to confidentiality protocols.<br>• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to facilitate smooth operations.<br>• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.<br>• Ensure proper labeling and categorization of digital files for easy retrieval.<br>• Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
• Experience with scanning and e-filing processes.<br>• Proficiency in operating heavy-duty scanners and related equipment.<br>• Ability to lift and manage boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Familiarity with handling financial and HR documents is preferred.<br>• Basic computer skills for setting up and operating scanners.<br>• Capacity to work efficiently under time constraints.<br>• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
