Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a success-driven and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This Contract to permanent position offers an opportunity to support a dynamic retail furniture business while delivering exceptional service to customers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and play a key role in ensuring smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Confirm customer orders placed online, provide updates regarding order status, and address any product or shipping concerns, including backorders and availability issues.<br>• Handle minor upselling activities, such as promoting product swatch bundles to enhance customer experience.<br>• Collaborate with the operations team to prepare swatch kits and assist in coordinating order fulfillment logistics.<br>• Research and compare shipping rates, offering customers accurate shipping options and information.<br>• Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, correspondence, and record keeping.<br>• Utilize internal systems and Microsoft Office tools effectively to manage customer inquiries and orders.<br>• Contribute to a positive and supportive office atmosphere, working closely with a small team.<br>• Communicate professionally with a diverse range of customers and team members to ensure excellent service delivery.<br>• Participate in problem-solving efforts to address customer concerns and improve processes.
• Proven experience in customer service, retail, or a call center environment.<br>• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with customers and colleagues.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in clerical tasks such as data entry and correspondence.<br>• Ability to work independently while demonstrating resourcefulness and initiative.<br>• Sales aptitude or prior experience in upselling is highly valued.<br>• Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite and internal software systems.<br>• Associates degree required.<br>• Must be able to work onsite daily in Charlotte, North Carolina.
