In this role, you will focus on managing billing and collections related to personal injury litigation, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the process. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in medical billing, lien resolution, and legal support, particularly in the area of personal injury cases. Responsibilities:• Process and reconcile medical bills associated with personal injury cases to ensure accuracy.• Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and clients to address billing concerns and outstanding balances.• Negotiate and resolve medical liens and subrogation claims efficiently.• Maintain detailed records of payments, settlements, and collection activities.• Assist attorneys by gathering medical records, bills, and lien documentation for case preparation.• Draft key documents, including settlement statements and correspondence related to billing and collections.• Coordinate with healthcare providers and experts to submit billing evidence for litigation purposes.• Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal regulations regarding medical billing and lien resolution.• Update case management systems with current billing and collection statuses.• Uphold confidentiality and organizational guidelines while managing sensitive information.

• Paralegal certification or equivalent legal training is required. • At least three years of experience in personal injury litigation, with a focus on medical billing and collections. • Demonstrated expertise in resolving medical liens and subrogation claims. • Strong understanding of medical terminology and billing codes. • Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with clients and third parties. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a dynamic environment. • Familiarity with insurance claim processes and settlement negotiations is preferred.
