Associate Attorney
We are looking for a dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team in Castle Rock, Colorado. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of cases, including civil litigation, real estate, and personal injury matters, while growing within a supportive and collaborative environment. The role will initially begin with part-time hours, with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Draft legal pleadings, motions, and discovery documents with attention to detail and accuracy.<br>• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive memoranda on complex issues.<br>• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.<br>• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts to advance case objectives.<br>• Manage case files, ensuring deadlines are met and documentation is properly organized.<br>• Participate in hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings to support case development.<br>• Provide legal insights and contribute to team discussions on case strategy and resolution.<br>• Assist in the preparation of contracts and other legal documents as needed.<br>• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to ensure compliance and effective advocacy.
<p>• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.</p><p>• Licensed to practice law and in good standing within the State of Colorado.</p><p>• At least 1-3 year of legal experience, with recent graduates considered.</p><p>• Familiarity with civil litigation processes and legal research techniques.</p><p>• Proficiency in drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.</p><p>• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.</p><p>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p><p>• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment-3.</p>
