<p><strong>General Accounting & Financial Reporting</strong></p><ul><li>Execute month‑end and year‑end close, including preparing and posting journal entries.</li><li>Reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts, resolving discrepancies promptly.</li><li>Assist with preparing financial statements and management reports in accordance with GAAP.</li><li>Analyze financial data, identify trends, and present insights to leadership.</li><li>Support internal and external audits by providing required schedules and documentation.</li></ul><p><strong>Accounts Receivable Management</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee the full AR cycle: invoicing, cash application, and collections.</li><li>Maintain accurate customer accounts and documentation (including resale certificates).</li><li>Set and monitor credit terms and limits based on credit reviews and payment history.</li><li>Review AR aging reports and lead collection efforts on past‑due accounts.</li><li>Communicate with customers professionally via phone and email for collections and issue resolution.</li><li>Investigate billing discrepancies, deductions, and payment issues with sales, customer service, and distribution teams.</li><li>Process and apply daily cash receipts (checks, wires, ACH, credit cards).</li><li>Maintain sales tax tables and ensure proper sales tax application.</li><li>Partner with the Sales Team to support customer experience and optimize cash flow.</li></ul><p><strong>Process Improvement & Compliance</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and document accounting policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls.</li><li>Identify opportunities to streamline AR and general accounting processes through automation and technology enhancements.</li><li>Maintain accurate financial and customer records in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</p><p>3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including accounts receivable.</p><p>Strong understanding of GAAP and relevant financial regulations.</p><p>Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar).</p><p>Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data analysis).</p><p>Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and research skills with high attention to detail.</p><p>Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.</p><p><br></p>
