We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Calabasas, California. This role focuses on ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis, maintaining effective internal controls, and supporting the company’s accounting operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of excelling in a fast-paced environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Facilitate the month-end and quarter-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and financial reports.<br>• Conduct account reconciliations and analyses for various categories such as prepaids, property taxes, and gift cards.<br>• Develop and enhance balance sheet reconciliation processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.<br>• Analyze financial results, comparing actual performance to historical trends and budget forecasts.<br>• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly financial forecasts.<br>• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation for audits.<br>• Undertake ad hoc projects to support accounting, reporting, and finance operations.<br>• Ensure compliance with company policies by maintaining effective internal controls and accurate financial transactions.<br>• Provide support and backup to other members of the finance team as needed.<br>• Work collaboratively across departments to ensure seamless financial processes.

<p>• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.</p><p>• Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting roles, ideally in the manufacturing industry. </p><p>• Proficient in financial analysis and problem-solving.</p><p>• Advanced Excel skills, including expertise in pivot tables and lookup functions.</p><p>• Familiarity with SOX compliance and public company month-end close processes.</p><p>• Strong verbal and written communication skills.</p><p>• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.</p><p>• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.</p>
