You can also connect with me on LinkedIn at (linkedin/in/brendan-steele-177770101/).</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Design, configure, and manage routing protocols, including advanced route maps and configurations.</li><li>Implement and maintain Cisco-based switching solutions to ensure optimal network performance.</li><li>Administer and troubleshoot wireless network systems, focusing on Cisco wireless technologies.</li><li>Manage and secure firewall systems, including Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, and Cisco ASA devices.</li><li>Provide expert-level support for cloud networking components such as route tables, direct connections, transit gateways, and internet gateways.</li><li>Collaborate on cloud networking setups, particularly within AWS and Azure environments.</li><li>Optimize network infrastructure by integrating advanced technologies and adhering to best practices.</li><li>Conduct regular network performance assessments and recommend improvements.</li><li>Maintain documentation of network configurations, processes, and security protocols.</li><li>Support the migration and implementation of new systems as required.</li></ul>

<ul><li>Routing: Expert in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Route-Maps, etc.</li><li>Switching: Expert in Cisco Switching</li><li>Wireless: Expert in Cisco Wireless</li><li>Firewalls: Expert in Palo Alto Firewalls + Panorama. Cisco ASA firewalls is preferred</li><li>SD-WAN: Expert understanding of the technology. Palo Alto Prisma / SD-WAN is preferred</li><li>AWS: Expertise in Route Tables, Direct Connect, Transit Gateways, Internet Gateways, etc.</li><li>Cloud Networking: Knowledge of AWS / Azure / OCI Networking</li><li>Additional: ZTNA, VPC, VNET, VLAN, NAC, VWAN, Least Privilege, Network Segmentation</li></ul>
