<p>We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Columbus, NE. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to handle repetitive tasks with precision. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting processes and familiarity with systems like QuickBooks or similar platforms, along with experience in industries such as manufacturing or construction.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage month-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.</p><p>• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to support financial reporting.</p><p>• Prepare and post journal entries, adhering to established accounting procedures.</p><p>• Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure proper resolution.</p><p>• Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate cash flow records.</p><p>• Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and provide detailed financial data.</p><p>• Collaborate with team members to optimize financial operations.</p><p>• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.</p><p>• Analyze financial data to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency.</p>

<p>• Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.</p><p>• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive tasks effectively.</p><p>• Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or comparable industries.</p><p>• Understanding of the tax credit process would be preferred.</p><p>• Demonstrated expertise in month-end close, general ledger, and journal entry processes.</p><p>• Skill in performing account and bank reconciliations with accuracy.</p><p>• Resourceful problem-solving abilities and excellent organizational skills.</p><p>• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</p>
