We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to join our team in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations and process improvements. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end close activities. Responsibilities:• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.• Perform account reconciliations, including general ledger and bank accounts, to maintain data integrity.• Assist with month-end closing processes and ensure timely completion of deliverables.• Analyze and clean up subsidiary accounts, ensuring compliance and accuracy.• Evaluate and optimize financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.• Collaborate on projects such as reviewing and enhancing procure-to-pay systems.• Support audits and provide documentation as needed.• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly.• Assist in creating detailed reports for management review.

• Extensive experience with month-end close processes. • Proficiency in managing general ledger accounts and journal entries. • Strong skills in performing account and bank reconciliations. • Familiarity with financial process optimization and system improvements. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
