We are looking for a skilled and meticulous Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our client's team in Bloomfield, Connecticut on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of employee benefit programs, supporting claims administration, and collaborating with payroll teams to maintain seamless benefit operations. This position requires a strong analytical mindset and expertise in benefits management to deliver effective solutions. Responsibilities:• Conduct thorough audits of employee benefits to verify compliance and accuracy.• Administer claims across various benefit programs, including medical, dental, and vision plans.• Reconcile insurance payments and address any discrepancies promptly.• Provide support to employees during benefit enrollment and offer clear guidance on available options.• Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure accurate processing of benefits-related deductions.• Regularly review active employee benefits and assess eligibility criteria.• Coordinate with external vendors, such as insurance providers, to resolve benefit-related concerns.• Organize and lead discussions on benefits programs using communication tools like Cisco Webex Meetings.• Generate detailed reports to evaluate the utilization and effectiveness of benefit programs.• Assist with audits and reconciliations to maintain accurate records and data integrity.

• Demonstrated experience in auditing employee benefits and managing claims administration. • In-depth knowledge of benefit functions, including medical, dental, and vision plans. • Familiarity with payroll processes and handling benefits-related deductions. • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees and external vendors. • Proficiency in using tools such as Workforce Now and Cisco Webex Meetings. • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical abilities. • Experience working with insurance providers and conducting reconciliations. • Understanding of benefits compliance regulations and standards.
