We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. If you thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about delivering high-quality financial services, we would love to hear from you.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.<br>• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial records.<br>• Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure consistency with the general ledger.<br>• Oversee general ledger activities, including regular updates and adjustments.<br>• Handle sales tax filings and compliance with relevant regulations.<br>• Conduct monthly and quarterly financial reconciliations to support accurate reporting.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.<br>• Support audits and provide necessary documentation to external auditors.<br>• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel features to analyze and organize financial data.<br>• Assist in developing financial reports to aid in strategic decision-making.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.<br>• Minimum of 2 years of experience in general accounting roles.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.<br>• Familiarity with sales tax regulations and compliance standards.<br>• Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.<br>• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.<br>• Preferred but not required: certifications or credentials in accounting or finance.
