<p>My client is a renewable energy company that has an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a role as a Senior Accountant in their Washington, DC office. The ideal person selected for the Senior Accountant position will be responsible for assisting with the month-end closing process, preparing various types of schedules, producing the financial statements, assisting with consolidation of the financial statements, accounting for inventory and fixed assets, facilitating the payroll process and ensuring the organization remains in compliance. This is an organization where an individual can maintain great work-life balance and will receive great benefits, including health.</p><p><br></p><p>Daily responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include:</p><p><br></p><p>·      Assist with month-end close process.</p><p>·      Preparation of financial statements.</p><p>·      Prepare various schedules.</p><p>·      Reconcile general ledger accounts.</p><p>·      Assist with payroll.</p><p>·      Ensure company is in compliance with regulatory agencies.</p>
