We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a stable and growing company in Baltimore, MD! This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial management and accounting practices who thrives in fast-paced environments. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and driving operational efficiency. Responsibilities:• Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.• Manage accrual processes and oversee prepaid expenses to maintain financial integrity.• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.• Analyze financial data and produce detailed reports to support decision-making processes.• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are correctly recorded.• Perform bank reconciliations to verify and balance accounts.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting needs and resolve discrepancies.• Support audits and compliance initiatives by providing relevant documentation and insights.• Assist in implementing and improving accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency.

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a detail-oriented environment. • Strong proficiency in month-end close procedures and financial reporting. • Extensive knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries. • Proven ability to perform account and bank reconciliations with precision. • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. • Familiarity with accounting software and tools. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
