NOC Support Technician
We are looking for a skilled NOC Support Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will provide first-line technical support for network-related issues, ensuring optimal connectivity and performance across diverse client environments. This position requires proficiency with Cisco Meraki equipment and cloud management tools, along with strong communication and troubleshooting abilities.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Monitor network systems using the Meraki dashboard to identify and address connectivity issues.<br>• Perform initial diagnostics on network hardware, including switches, access points, and security appliances.<br>• Respond to support tickets promptly and guide users through basic troubleshooting steps.<br>• Verify device configurations and review event logs to ensure proper functionality.<br>• Escalate complex network concerns to higher-level support teams when necessary.<br>• Conduct routine checks such as port status reviews and firewall rule interpretations.<br>• Maintain accurate documentation of case notes and troubleshooting activities.<br>• Collaborate with the network operations center to support ongoing system stability and uptime.<br>• Provide clear and thorough communication to end users regarding technical issues.<br>• Assist in identifying and addressing common alerts and system anomalies.
• Previous experience in a NOC or technical support role, with a focus on network-related issues.<br>• Proficiency in using Cisco Meraki equipment and managing configurations through its dashboard.<br>• Familiarity with networking concepts such as WAP and WPAN.<br>• Knowledge of tools like Norton Utilities for Windows.<br>• Ability to interpret and troubleshoot firewall rules and basic network configurations.<br>• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to guide users effectively.<br>• Capability to perform routine diagnostics and escalate issues when necessary.
