NOC Support Technician
We are looking for a skilled NOC Support Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will provide essential first-level technical support for network-related issues across diverse client environments. You will play a critical role in ensuring network uptime and performance by monitoring and troubleshooting connectivity concerns using Cisco Meraki networking equipment and cloud-based management tools.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues using Cisco Meraki equipment and dashboards.<br>• Respond promptly to support tickets and perform initial diagnostics on network devices such as switches, access points, and security appliances.<br>• Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams while maintaining accurate case notes and documentation.<br>• Review event logs, verify device configurations, and identify common alerts within the Meraki dashboard.<br>• Conduct routine tasks such as port checks, device status reviews, and basic firewall rule interpretation.<br>• Guide end users through troubleshooting steps with clear communication and technical expertise.<br>• Collaborate with network operations and engineering teams to support broader operational goals.<br>• Maintain detailed records of network incidents and resolutions for future reference.<br>• Ensure timely responses to client inquiries and uphold high standards of customer service.
• Proven experience in network operations and technical support, including familiarity with Cisco Meraki systems.<br>• Ability to navigate and utilize the Meraki dashboard for monitoring and troubleshooting purposes.<br>• Strong knowledge of wireless protocols such as WAP and WPAN.<br>• Proficiency in using Norton Utilities on Windows systems.<br>• Experience with cable assemblies and related hardware.<br>• Excellent communication skills for guiding users through troubleshooting processes.<br>• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.<br>• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges.
