Collections Specialist
<p>We are looking for a skilled Collections Specialist to join our team in Alpharetta, Georgia. In this role, you will manage customer accounts and ensure timely payments while maintaining positive relationships with clients. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in B2B collections and large ERP systems.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Oversee a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables.</p><p>• Document all collection activities in Oracle, maintaining accurate and compliant records.</p><p>• Identify and resolve payment discrepancies, billing issues, and short payments.</p><p>• Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Customer Service, and Accounting to address disputes and payment concerns.</p><p>• Prepare and review aging reports to analyze trends and provide updates on collection progress.</p><p>• Recommend actions for delinquent accounts, including escalation, write-offs, or legal proceedings.</p><p>• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while enforcing company payment policies.</p><p>• Ensure adherence to established collection processes and compliance standards.</p>
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections, preferably in a B2B environment.<br>• Proficiency in Oracle systems for tracking and managing accounts.<br>• Strong understanding of commercial and consumer collection processes.<br>• Experience with credit and billing collection practices.<br>• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage customer relationships.<br>• Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights from aging reports.<br>• Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.<br>• Familiarity with recommending escalations or legal actions for overdue accounts.
