Procurement Clerk
<p>Our client is looking for a skilled Procurement Clerk to join their team in The Woodlands, Texas. In this contract-to-hire position, you will play a pivotal role in managing purchasing processes and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of collaborating across multiple departments to ensure seamless operations. The position is fully onsite, Monday-Friday from 8-5. Apply today for immediate consideration! </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee the establishment of new subdivisions by ensuring that all procedures are systematically documented and efficiently organized.</li><li>Handle the registration process for vendors and contractors, inclusive of monitoring insurance compliance and assigning unique vendor identification numbers.</li><li>Regularly review and update pricing, selection options, and detailed product data to maintain accuracy and availability.</li><li>Enter and modify takeoff data for new projects and design changes, supporting revisions and associated pricing updates.</li><li>Create comprehensive cost analysis comparisons and monthly reports to aid in budgeting and financial forecasting.</li><li>Investigate and resolve payroll inconsistencies, taking preventive steps and conducting analysis of labor cost trends.</li><li>Facilitate communication and collaboration among departments.</li><li>Issue purchase orders, process project updates, and manage change orders as needed.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date records for rebates, job accruals, aging reports, and vendor or community tracking.</li><li>Act as a support resource for the Purchasing team, ensuring seamless operations and teamwork across functions.</li></ul>
<p>• Minimum of one year of experience in purchasing or procurement roles.</p><p>• Familiarity with purchasing systems.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of purchase orders, buying processes, and procurement functions.</p><p>• Experience in contract negotiations. </p><p>• Proficiency in budgeting and cost analysis.</p><p>• Excellent organizational and communication skills to work effectively across departments.</p>
