Paralegal
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to join our team in The Woodlands, Texas. This is a contract position where you will play a key role in supporting the Legal Counsel Department by managing administrative tasks, assisting with legal documentation, and ensuring smooth departmental operations. If you have a strong background in legal processes and are eager to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide administrative support to the Legal Counsel Department, including scheduling meetings, responding to inquiries, and maintaining calendars for attorneys.<br>• Conduct fact investigations and assist in the preparation of legal documents such as nondisclosure agreements, contracts, briefs, and pleadings.<br>• Organize and maintain a comprehensive legal filing system to ensure accessibility and accuracy of records.<br>• Collaborate with attorneys on case management tasks and support them with new matters as they arise.<br>• Prepare departmental reports and monitor progress on multiple projects to meet deadlines.<br>• Facilitate communication with various departments and external parties to foster effective business relationships.<br>• Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality in all tasks.<br>• Assist in special projects and other job-related duties as assigned.
• At least 2 years of paralegal experience or equivalent experience in the banking industry.<br>• Paralegal certification or an associate degree or higher is preferred.<br>• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.<br>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation.<br>• Exceptional organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and maintain discretion when working with sensitive information.<br>• Experience with civil litigation, trial preparation, discovery, and case management software.<br>• High level of attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in all aspects of work.
