Paralegal
We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team in Houston, Texas. This is a long-term contract opportunity designed for a detail-oriented individual skilled in civil litigation, discovery processes, and trial preparation. The role offers the chance to contribute to impactful legal cases while utilizing advanced case management tools.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.<br>• Conduct detailed discovery processes, including document review and organization.<br>• Coordinate case docketing and ensure deadlines and schedules are met.<br>• Manage case files and utilize case management software to organize legal documents.<br>• Support litigation processes related to condemnation and land development projects.<br>• Research and analyze legal information relevant to ongoing cases.<br>• Communicate with clients and external parties regarding case progress and legal matters.<br>• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and correspondence.<br>• Maintain and update case records to ensure accuracy and compliance.<br>• Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact ongoing cases.
• Proven experience as a Paralegal with a focus on civil litigation.<br>• Strong knowledge of discovery processes and trial preparation.<br>• Proficiency in using case management software.<br>• Familiarity with legal procedures related to condemnation and land development.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.<br>• Effective written and verbal communication skills.<br>• Strong research and analytical abilities.
