<p>Robert Half is currently working with one of our clients in the Woodland Hills, CA area to fill a Senior Accountant role. Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the monthly financial reporting process for our various management companies, including reviewing the financial statements for multiple properties, monthly accruals, consolidations, review management fee calculations, and cash management. Prepares monthly or quarterly cash flow reports to calculate distributable cash flow for each asset accurately. Responsible for preparing and completing monthly or quarterly capital improvement draws and/or capital calls for unfunded commitment and submitting them to either the lender or LP for funding. <ul><li>The successful candidate will have a minimum BA/BS in accounting or finance.</li><li>CPA preferred, but not required </li><li>RealPage property management software experience preferred</li><li>Knowledge of GAAP Accounting and Affordable Housing specific reporting requirements</li><li>Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision; must be thorough, detail-oriented, and have excellent follow-up skills.</li><li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines promptly. </li><li>Must have strong analytical skills and be a highly energetic team player with a positive attitude.</li><li>Ability to communicate with all levels of management.</li><li>Ability to communicate articulately verbally and in written form.</li><li>5+ years of multi-family real estate experience required. Strong knowledge of GAAP, LIHTC, HUD and Affordable housing compliance experience a plus. </li><li>Experience with tax credit syndication, bond financing, and HUD reports a plus</li></ul>
