We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Gardena, California. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers a unique opportunity to oversee critical accounting operations while contributing to the company's financial growth and stability. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and team leadership.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.<br>• Prepare and calculate monthly commissions, royalty income, and sales rebate expenses.<br>• Conduct detailed reconciliations for royalty income and other key financial records.<br>• Assist in the execution of month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial reporting.<br>• Analyze and interpret monthly financial statements to identify trends and discrepancies.<br>• Implement and maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies.<br>• Supervise and mentor accounting team members to ensure efficient operations and foster growth.<br>• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and alignment with organizational goals.<br>• Utilize accounting software, such as QuickBooks, to manage and streamline financial operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.<br>• At least 4-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a mid-sized company with annual revenue of $15 million or more.<br>• Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising a team of 2-3 individuals.<br>• Strong proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.<br>• Solid understanding of financial reporting standards and practices.<br>• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.<br>• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment.
