We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Williamsburg, Virginia. In this contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial processing and reporting while maintaining compliance with company standards. This position requires strong attention to detail and expertise in accounts payable functions. Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable transactions, including coding invoices and verifying payment accuracy. • Manage check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments to ensure timely disbursement. • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently. • Audit inventory records and ensure accurate financial reporting. • Upload and maintain accurate bank details within the system. • Collaborate with payroll and accounts receivable teams to streamline operations. • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. • Utilize SAP software to execute accounts payable tasks and reporting. • Maintain organized records of all financial transactions for auditing purposes.

• Proven experience in accounts payable functions, including invoice coding and payment processing. • Proficiency in SAP or similar accounting software. • Strong understanding of Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and check runs. • Ability to reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies. • Familiarity with payroll and accounts receivable processes. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Knowledge of auditing practices and inventory management. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams.
