<p><strong>Plant Controller</strong></p><p> </p><p>A client of ours is looking for a Plant Controller for a contract role. This role is critical in driving financial accuracy, operational insight, and strong internal controls within a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on financial leader with deep manufacturing expertise and a strong command of cost accounting.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities of Plant Controller</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and manage the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial results</li><li>Prepare, analyze, and present financial reporting for plant leadership and corporate teams</li><li>Oversee all aspects of cost accounting, including variance analysis, standard costing, and inventory valuation</li><li>Partner with operations to provide financial insight on production performance, cost drivers, and process efficiency</li><li>Maintain strong controllership and internal controls within the plant environment</li><li>Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning activities</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements</li><li>Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><strong>Skills/Qualifications of Plant Controller</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred)</li><li>Manufacturing experience is a MUST</li><li>5+ years of experience in plant accounting, cost accounting, or financial controllership</li><li>Strong understanding of cost structures, inventory processes, and production workflows</li><li>Proven ability to manage month-end close and financial reporting in a manufacturing setting</li><li>Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability</li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams </li></ul><p>If you are interested in this or similar Plant Controller roles, please contact Bernadette Komatick at 484.254.9060 for additional information and reference JO# 03710-0013341598 </p><p><br></p>
