1. Perform timely, accurate and efficient monthly accounting close<br>2. Review and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP<br>3. Manage the annual financial audit process performed by our independent CPA firm<br>4. Ensure accuracy of the physical inventory and reported results<br>5. Provide support and assist plant management in compiling key performance metrics, continuous improvement<br>measurements, and cost reduction initiatives<br>6. Seek opportunities to revise or create new policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the<br>accounting group<br>7. Develop, analyze, document, and implement internal controls<br>8. Communicate effectively with senior management and co-workers about the finances of the business and justify<br>certain financial recommendations<br>9. Develops annual budgets and monitors and reports the actual results versus the budget<br>10. Prepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts, and statements to understand the<br>financial state of business<br>11. Prepare special or ad-hoc financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends<br>12. Manage accounting functions on a day-to-day basis including invoicing, accounts receivable, procurement, accounts<br>payable, general ledger accounting, and payroll<br>13. Oversee the process of posting payroll transactions to the general ledger and the adequacy of ledger account<br>mapping to payroll activity statements.<br>14. Supervise employees that report to the controller<br>15. Monitoring and managing outsourced services - Payroll/Tax<br>16. Ensure state and federal tax payments are paid on time<br>17. Pro-actively looking to identify and implement process improvements and technology enhancements that will benefit<br>the business<br>18. Help identify ways to improve financial efficiency and identify areas to reduce costs to benefit the organization’s<br>profits<br>19. Ensure the Accounting/Finance Department is a valued partner to the wider business
