We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Westborough, Massachusetts. In this role, you will handle critical financial tasks such as month-end closings, general ledger management, and detailed account reconciliations. Responsibilities:• Manage month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.• Oversee general ledger operations, maintaining records and resolving discrepancies.• Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate financial tracking.• Conduct thorough account and bank reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes to support organizational planning.• Handle fixed asset accounting, including tracking and reporting.• Support both internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.• Contribute to financial reporting, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.• Participate in process improvements and ad hoc financial initiatives to enhance efficiency.

• Proven experience with month-end close procedures and general ledger management. • Strong knowledge of journal entries and account reconciliation processes. • Familiarity with bank reconciliation practices and financial reporting standards. • Ability to manage fixed asset accounting and assist in budgeting and forecasting. • Experience supporting audits, both internal and external. • Proficiency in identifying and implementing process improvements. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams.
