Tax Manager
We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to manage corporate, state, and federal tax compliance for a multi-entity organization operating across multiple states and international jurisdictions. As a key member of the team, you will oversee consolidated tax returns and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Prepare and review corporate, state, and federal tax returns for a multi-entity organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance.<br>• Oversee the preparation of consolidated tax returns, including managing consolidation processes for multiple entities.<br>• Handle multi-state tax compliance across approximately 30 states, as well as international tax filings.<br>• Utilize CorpTax software to streamline tax preparation and filing processes.<br>• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of tax filings and adherence to deadlines.<br>• Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations to provide guidance on compliance and planning.<br>• Manage and review supporting documentation for tax filings, including financial statements and related schedules.<br>• Assist with audits and inquiries from tax authorities, providing detailed responses and documentation.<br>• Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the organization.<br>• Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in corporate tax management, with a focus on consolidated tax returns.<br>• Proficiency in CorpTax software or similar tax preparation tools.<br>• Strong knowledge of corporate, state, and federal tax regulations.<br>• Experience handling multi-state tax compliance for organizations operating across multiple jurisdictions.<br>• Familiarity with international tax compliance is a plus.<br>• Ability to analyze complex financial data and translate it into accurate tax filings.<br>• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.<br>• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
