We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. This role requires someone with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to manage financial data across multiple entities. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring expertise in corporate accounting processes. Responsibilities:• Prepare and manage journal entries and maintain accuracy in the general ledger.• Perform corporate tax return filings and ensure compliance with sales tax regulations.• Utilize advanced Excel skills, including formulas, VBA, and pivot tables, to analyze financial data.• Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed explanations and reports.• Support budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data and reporting.• Assist with mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and financial integration.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting operations.• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas, VBA, and pivot tables. • Experience handling corporate tax returns and sales tax compliance. • Knowledge of general ledger and journal entry processes. • Ability to perform variance analysis and provide actionable insights. • Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions processes is preferred. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills in fast-paced environments. • Previous experience in multi-entity accounting is highly desirable.
