We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the property accounting team while contributing to key financial processes. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting practices and a commitment to accuracy in reporting and reconciliation. Responsibilities: • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records. • Manage general ledger accounts and ensure their proper maintenance. • Collaborate with the property accounting team to oversee asset accounting activities. • Perform month-end close processes to finalize financial statements. • Reconcile accounts and verify the accuracy of transactions. • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure compliance with accounting standards. • Assist in transitioning accounting processes to new systems as needed. • Support internal and external audits with relevant documentation. • Maintain financial data integrity and address discrepancies promptly. • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate accounting tasks.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred. • Proven experience with journal entries and general ledger management. • Familiarity with property accounting practices and procedures. • Strong skills in month-end close and account reconciliation processes. • Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation. • Experience with accounting software systems; knowledge of is a plus. • Background in utilities or similar industries is advantageous. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
