We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in West Palm Beach, Florida, on a long-term contract basis. The position offers an excellent opportunity to oversee key accounting functions, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide valuable insights through detailed financial analysis.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Oversee the complete accounting cycle, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance.<br>• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to support decision-making and organizational goals.<br>• Conduct variance analyses to identify trends and recommend actionable strategies to management.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial operations with broader organizational objectives.<br>• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.<br>• Utilize advanced Excel skills and tools such as Power BI to develop financial models and streamline reporting processes.<br>• Manage bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.<br>• Support ad hoc reporting needs and provide insights for special projects.<br>• Leverage expertise in SAP or similar accounting software to optimize and maintain financial data.<br>• Assist with SOX compliance and other audits as required, ensuring all documentation is thorough and accurate.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.<br>• At least 5 years of senior-level accounting experience, with a proven track record of excellence.<br>• Proficiency in SAP and other accounting software, with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems.<br>• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, financial modeling, and complex formulas.<br>• Solid understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and regulatory standards.<br>• Experience with month-end close processes, general ledger management, and account reconciliations.<br>• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.<br>• Familiarity with Power BI or similar tools for data visualization and reporting.
