If you are interested in this role, please contact Melissa at 808.452.0254 Responsibilities:• Supervise and manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, financial reporting, and year-end audit preparation.• Coordinate the preparation of internal and external financial statements and ensure regulatory compliance.• Evaluate current accounting operations, recommend improvements, and implement new processes to enhance efficiency.• Develop and monitor financial performance metrics to provide actionable insights to management.• Manage the budgeting process, including preparation, monitoring, and reporting.• Oversee cash flow management and forecasting, ensuring optimal financial positioning.• Facilitate and coordinate annual audits by working closely with external auditors.• Monitor and reconcile donations, grants, memberships, and investment accounts in collaboration with the development team.• Supervise accounting staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.

• Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, or a related field. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace tools. • Hands-on experience with accounting systems such as Abila MIP and Counterpoint. • Strong understanding of financial reporting and the ability to use data for strategic decision-making. • Proven ability to manage cash flow and forecasting processes effectively. • Experience with tax compliance, including excise and other related taxes. • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
